About:

I was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) art and design program. My undergraduate degree (BFA) is in Photo/Film/Electronic Media (yes, quite long, but a real major).

In 2000, I moved to Miami, Florida, and attended International Fine Arts College, which later was purchased by the Art Institute brand of art and design colleges. I received my MFA in Computer Animation, mostly studying Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects.

I taught animation, graphic design, and design elements (form, shape, line etc.) online from 2003-2010. I have worked for five different universities. This included course development, design, and project management. My current position is with Oracle as an Instructional Designer.

Painting has always been a great love, and I'm finally putting myself out there. I hope you enjoy my work.
